WRITER

Good writing is first step to a great movie

Contact me for details on my current projects.

Zuzana started with math because it is easy to get great  in it even if all one has is a  pencil.

Writing is similar to math in that sense.

Then she witnessed fall of the iron curtain, her old country shattered into two parts and she ended up in America.

Surprisingly the first job she landed in USA was acting.

But math, and later computers, helped pay the bills.

She tried to raise two kids and failed miserably,
not by her own fault.

She traveled to Nara, Japan, where she elbowed her way through little kids and managed to slide through Buddha’s nostril, thus, according to local beliefs, she will be enlightened.

Not to leave the enlightenment to random chance, she took on meditation and  chanting during her trek through Chola Pass where she  stood in awe under Mt. Everest.

The true enlightenment, especially of her wallet,  came once she entered film school  to get her MFA in science and natural history filmmaking.

Ultimately she threw herself into fiction just as the world became stranger than fiction.

These days she enjoys putting her protagonists through situations she would not wish onto her worst enemies.

In the real world she dreams of the world where no-one suffers, which, unfortunately, at this moment, sounds like the ultimate fiction.

Writing is supporting my directing obsession,

and letting me make S%%! up
